Fair hearings are held when the EDG, or an authorized representative chosen by the EDG, makes a hearing request to object to actions taken against the EDG’s case.
The fair hearing is conducted by a State fair hearing officer. The hearing officer provides a fair, impartial, and objective review of the agency’s actions, and confirms or denies the agency’s actions.
