7 CFR ยง 273.15(g)


EDGs have 90 days to request a hearing from the notice date of any of the following:

  • Any action to reduce or terminate benefits. 
  • An amount of an underpayment. 
  • A denial of an an underpayment. 
  • The type of overpayment or recoupment rate.


Note:  Additionally, hearings may be requested:

  • anytime during the benefit period to dispute the current level of benefits, or
  • when an application has been pending over 30 days.
