Intentional Program Violation
7 CFR ยง 273.16(a)(3) and (c)
An intentional program violation (IPV) occurs when having intentionally:
- made a false or misleading statement;
- misrepresented, concealed, or withheld facts;
- committed any act that constitutes a violation of the Food and Nutrition Act; or
- trafficking benefits.
IPV is found when the individual:
- signs an ADH hearing waiver or a disqualification consent agreement (DCA), or
- is found guilty of an IPV by an:
