Case records contain information regarding EDGs.  This information is entered into ImpaCT.  All case record information is considered confidential


The case record and ImpaCT provide the means for workers to determine eligibility and provide the EDG with appropriate benefits and services.

Case Record Contents

Case records contain: 

  • Applications
  • Benefit computations
  • Case notes
  • Correspondence
  • Current and historical information about the EDG
  • Eligibility determinations
  • Forms
  • Individual information
  • Issuance information 
  • Overissuance and claims information
  • Supporting records and verifications  


If the EDG disagrees with the case record information, they can make a written request to have their case record updated.  Act on the request and provide notice to the EDG within 30 days advising: 

  • if the information was corrected, or 
  • the reason the information was not corrected.  

Note:  The EDG retains the right to add to the case record their own statement regarding what they believe is the accurate information.
