Waived Verification Factors

7 CFR § 273.2(j)(1)(iii) and (2)(v) and (4)(ii)-(iii)(A)-(E)

Verification is waived for the following eligibility factors for RCE and ECE EDGs:

• Assets

Exception:  Transferred assets policy applies to EDGs who are RCE through receipt of AABD or SAGA.

• Residency
• Sponsored non-citizen information
• SSN

Exception:  Verify the SSN if not verified by the program that confers RCE or ECE.

Verification Required

7 CFR § 273.2(j)(1)(iii) and (2)(v) and (4)(ii)

Verify the following factors: 

• Countable gross income does not exceed 200% for ECE EDGs.
• Each member of a potential RCE EDG is authorized to receive one of the qualifying programs. 
• Questionable information.
• Required eligibility factors not waived for RCE or ECE.

Note:  RCE and ECE EDGs applying for or receiving other benefit programs in addition to SNAP must follow those programs’ information and verification requirements.
