Provide the longest benefit period possible based on the EDG’s situation.


Coordinate cash assistance benefit periods whenever possible.


Assign a 36-month benefit period to EDGs where all members are:


EDGs who do not qualify for a 36-month benefit period receive a 12-month benefit period.
